How to Get to Tuscany

• Flight time: If you're flying from Dublin to Tuscany, you can expect a flight time of about 2 hours and 15 minutes. There are also direct flights available from other Irish airports to Florence and Pisa—these are the main airports in the region.

• Transfer time: Once you land at Florence Airport (Peretola), you can hop on a tram and be in the city centre in just 15 minutes. At Pisa Airport (Galileo Galilei), it’s a quick five-minute trip on the PisaMover shuttle train to reach Pisa Central Station. From there, local trains can take you to various towns and cities across Tuscany.

• Price: A tram ticket from Florence Airport to the city centre will set you back around €1.50. If you're using the PisaMover shuttle, a single fare to the train station is about €6.50. Expect taxi fares to be roughly €25 from Florence Airport to the city centre and about €10 for a taxi from Pisa Airport to Pisa Central Station.
