For a trip unlike any other, a holiday in Las Vegas really is the perfect destination. This breathtaking city has out-of-this-world attractions, a 24-hour party scene, glitzy hotels and lovely eateries. So you’ll be able to fill up your days without any problem during your stay.

Set in the middle of the desert, you’d expect the surrounding landscapes to have little to offer. But if you’d like to get away from the city there are lots of national parks to explore.

Back in the heart of Vegas itself, you can discover the cultural side of the city in the buzzing downtown area, spend an indulgent afternoon at the tables in one of the best-known casinos in the world, or simply relax under the sun by a pool. With such a great, year-round climate there’s no bad time to visit the city either. So it’s just a case of deciding how you want to spend your perfect holiday.

Top Vegas sights

If you’re looking to chill by the pool, check out Bellagio. It’s one of the strip’s most iconic hotels and the beautiful Italian-inspired pool is surrounded by landscaped gardens and fountains, making it a peaceful spot in the heart of the busiest part of Vegas.

To escape the parties and the slot machines if only for an afternoon, visit some of the city’s cultural venues like the Marjorie Barrick Museum. Here you can see natural history exhibits and they host a variety of events throughout the year. Or, pop to the National Atomic Testing Museum to learn all about the Nevada Test Site and the impact it had on the country.

Other great ways to spend some time include the 550-foot High Roller where you can get views right across the city. And if that sounds like your kind of thing, head to the Eiffel Tower Experience for a full panorama of Vegas.

Getting out and dining in style

For a really fun evening out, check out some of the city’s best known nightlife spots. One of these would have to be the Velveteen Rabbit where you can sample cocktails and craft beers, all to the backdrop of live music and projected artwork from local artists.

Tryst is another popular spot to spend an evening. With its beautiful pool and fashionable crowd, you’ll be sure to party in style. And the very trendy RHUMBAR at The Mirage is perfect for anyone looking for chilled-out, Caribbean-styled surroundings, live DJs and performances and delicious cocktails.

For great restaurants, head to 800 Degrees Pizza Restaurant for a laid-back meal, Addiction Restaurant for a sleek and ultramodern experience, or The Ainsworth at The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino for a relaxing bite to eat.
