Free art exhibits: Spend a few hours searching for murals. Estepona is known for its open-air museum of large-scale artworks that adorn the walls of buildings throughout the town. A map with all the murals is available from the tourist office.
Promenade stroll: Strolling along the beautifully-planted promenade, which runs for miles all the way to the Marina, passes a very enjoyable couple of hours. Apart from offering beautiful sea views, street performers entertain, knick-knack stalls encourage browsing, and flying saucer-like structures give welcome shade.
Festivals and events: Estepona hosts a comprehensive calendar of festivals throughout the year. The Feria in July is the most popular with tourists; for nearly a week, the town is immersed in music, dance, parades and folklore shows.
